Our Distillery Plans
When we launched Shipyard Gin, it was never just about the spirit in the bottle. It was about creating something with purpose. From the start, we have held a clear ambition to open a craft distillery on the banks of the River Clyde, close to where our story began. That vision remains at the heart of everything we do. We want to build a place that brings people together. A home for our gin that welcomes visitors, supports local jobs, and adds to the growing tourism of Scotland's west coast. Just as the shipyards once shaped this community, we hope our distillery will be a new chapter in its story.
Heritage & Craft
At the heart of Shipyard Gin is a deep respect for the men and women who built the ships that shaped Scotland's past. The Clyde was more than just a river, it was a lifeline of industry, innovation, and identity. Its shipyards launched vessels that travelled the world, but it was the hands behind the steel that gave them soul. Shipyard Gin honours that legacy. Every batch we produce carries the spirit of those who worked in all weather, with skill passed down through generations, and pride forged in every rivet and weld. Our approach to distilling mirrors that same mindset. No shortcuts, no compromise, just quiet dedication to the craft. We do not just make gin. We honour a tradition of making things that last.
